bad decision by hurdle to chase the division as i was saying for days, volquez was like a 10 era in the playoffs in his career, cole was a number 1 overall pick in the draft, bumgarner was awesome probably wouldnt have mattered anyways, just an embarrassing performance by the pirates overall

Jones or Markakis hitting behind Cruz = you have to deal with him.

Pearce hitting behind Cruz = you try to get him to chase something, throw nothing over the heart of the plate, and take your chances with the next guy in the lineup.
