Afternoon, fellas. Popping in from my summer break with a quick thought: take a look at Yankees TT under 3' this afternoon. Last 10 Kluber starts, opposition has only scored more than two runs twice. Once, he gave up 4 to CWS. Other time, he gave 2 to Tigers in 7 innings, then Axford did his usual thing. After another unsightly appearance last night, hoping that we don't see asshat Axford today...

McCann out, Teixeira should be too. Kellogg solid under-leaning ump, and although unders in day games in Bronx not normally a recipe for success, wind expected to be neutral and like the forecast for low and falling humidity during afternoon.

Jimenez is like the worst day pitcher in MLB and the O's who are arguably the hottest team in baseball since the all-star break are a pick em against St. Louis and Lackey. Might take the cards here.

Hard game to gauge. On one hand, getting Balti at home at -105 is great value, especially against Lackey who is nothing special. But on the hand very hard not to fade Ubaldo on his return.

Well, they've already acquired Nathan, Hanrahan, Jim Johnson -- let's see how many washed up closers they can pile up into one bullpen.

Maybe Lee Smith or Dennis Eckersley are available via free agency as well.
