Cubs:
Haven't been a good road team this season, but had a successful road trip prior to this trip beginning in florida. Wells has been solid his last 3 starts, compiling a 3-0 record and an ERA of 3.32 and a WHIP of 1.26..........Ramirez is probable tonight, but is expected to play. Cubs are 7-3 in their last 10, and are batting .287 vs rh during that same period.

Cincy:
Having a horrible time right now. They have lost 9 of their last 10, and Harang is 0-3 in his last 3 starts, with an ERA of 6.30 and a WHIP of 1.30. They are only batting .193 vs rh in the last 10, and they are missing several players with injuries.

NOTE: no real edge to the Bull-Pens.

I took Pit also. I just knew it was a solid bet. Dang pirates. I have noticed something also, every bet that I have taken in the last month on a team laying -150 I have lost. I am begining to wonder if -150 is a sucker line.

He has faced Washington 7 times in his career and Florida has won all 7 by at least 2 runs in each game. Florida has won 3 of their last 4 on the road, and 7 of their last 10 overall. Ramirez is questionable tonight.

Washington:
J.D. Martin is on the hill for the Nats. He has had 3 starts this season, and is struggling. He is 0-2 with a 7.50 ERA and a WHIP of 1.50.........Although Washington has won their last 2, they are still one of the weakest teams in the major leagues, and they also have a weak BP.

I'm probably going for KC and perhaps TB. PIT I'm thinking of chasing, they have Duke on the mound and at home their offense is usually decent, I don't think they'll drop 3 in a row at home. D-backs aren't too good offensively away from home and Petit is one that I expect to go crap again after strangely shutting down the Phils.

Seems like most of us are in agreement about Florida, so I will throw another one out there I like too.

Baltimore at Detroit:

Baltimore:
First start for Matusz. He is 22 yr old rookie who is doing pretty good down in AA ball, going 7-0 with a 1.55 ERA. Baltimore has lost it's last 4.... and 7 of their last 10. They are 16-35 on the road this season, and are batting just .208 vs lefties in their last 10.

Detroit:
First start for Washburn in a Detroit uniform. In his last 3 games, he is 2-0 with a 0.87 ERA and a WHIP of 0.97. He has pitched 2 games vs Baltimore this season while with Seattle and has given up 1 run in 16 innings and only 7 hits. The Tigers are 5-5 in their last 10, but they are a totally different team at home, going 32-16 at Comerica this season. They are batting .287 vs lefties in their last 10

NOTE: Bull Pen edge, slightly in Baltimore's favor. Wind currently blowing out to right at 7 mph

This may not be very popular to say but it's worth saying. I can not endorse the Tiger's selection in any way, shape or form this evening. For some reason in the back of my head I keep thinking a new (traded for) SP doesn't fare well in their first or second post All Star break start - yet when I went looking for the past three hours for my notebook that has that type of data, it could not be found. Do I want them to win? But there won't be any wagers involving them this evening. For those who take the plunge with Detroit .

The only sure thing I know about the game is that it should start at/about/around 7:10pm tonight. Nothing is certain in gambling terms. What I can and will tell you, every listed selection follows the method of selection process/system I've been using for a number of years. From the same process from the last two days/nights it pulled the +175 MILW winner yesterday, the +240 HOU winner the day before that. Will it lose or will it win? I don't know but I trust my process and it indicated to play on CIN tonight.
