Have three games today. I frequently bet both the ML and RL on the same team. This reduces the juce of the favorit team you have bet on so that your payout is more like what you would receive betting on a dog team. The one disadvantage is your team must win by 2 or more runs to collect both bets. However, it is better than betting on just the RL -1.5. If your team wins by one point you lose the RL bet but win the Ml bet to break even. How many times have you had a RL bet and you team wins by one run but you lose your bet? Better to break even than an outright loss.

My Sept 16 plays

STL ML -120 Bet 2.4 units to win 2 units
STL RL +175 Bet 2 units to win 3.5 units

SFO ML -120 Bet 2.4 units to win 2 units
SFO Rl +190 Bet 2 units to won 3.8 units

LAA ML -115 Bet 2.3 units to win 2 units
LAA RL +140 Bet 2 units to win 2,8 units

New to the thread and I have a quick question. For TA's plays, when it is listed "FL/STL" what type of bet is it? I am assuming the $$$ = units. I tried searching back through the thread but 145 pgs is a lot of reading and I did not see anything. Any quick help would be appreciated.

The key to the icons/smilies/symbols is around post 1,940 to 1,960 I believe - it's been a while but the information you seek is there. You're not being singled out, everyone has to go get them for themself.

Lesson Learned. Don't chase unless you have the stones to see it all the way through. 4 of 5 plays yesterday were chases. The 4 teams were a combined 0-19 going into yesterday. Early play on SD wins, but goes into extra's. Trying to save on juice I play ML and RL on early evening games and they end up being 1 run also and go the wrong way. Correct way to chase should have been RL HOU and ML DET. COL bails me out in yet another 1 run game. 4 chases going at the same time with big juice is not fun, nor economical especially in September. If not for the chase, would not even have considered SD or HOU. If I ever do this again, everyone has permission to publicly berate me. I'll take a positive day, but I will never go through this process again.
