Been following you with the pucks for quite a while now (or at least since I joined) but I haven't seen you too much in the horses forum. I would be interested in hearing what you think about some t-breds sometime if you have a chance.

Hopefully you avoided some/most/all of the non-cash positive days (pucks). Only post t'breds when there's enough time or have something that I think is worth having others read. Translation, I won't post there just to post something; to me there needs to be some sort of value/insight or discussion. I will make it a point to post something there for this weekend. Well done last night. That's one of the beauties about baseball, one doesn't have to wait long before the next game if the previous didn't pan out or get to try and keep the string going the next day. As close as I follow the Tigers, I do not think this will be a play for me (at least as of right now it's not). For how I do things, it just doesn't work as the line is off by fifteen plus. That is not to try and sway you/others one way or the other, it's just saying it's not for me. I hope it cashes for you and others. Thanks for posting.

TA i just wanted to tell you that your record looks great and i appreciate that you take time on here to write back to people when they ask you questions. Thats someone who honestly wants everyone to win. I have a thread "Winners Circle". I havent been on SBR but about 2 weeks now and really enjoy it. I like the communication about different views of the matchups. Wish you the best with everything and ill keep up with you.

Thank you but realize there are others with a better won-loss record. How I do things is not for everyone and my w-l record will not always be "pretty". I do things to make cash/money/units/your term. If the record is nice, great. If not, I don't worry about it. I could drop four games in a row on a team, play them the fifth time get the win and be ahead cash wise but "winning" only 20% of the time. This is why everyone has to do it a way that works for them. I look at it from many points of view and one of them comes from if I went into someone's thread, how would I want to be treated. It's just who I am and what I do. I recall seeing a group called "Winners Circle" (or something real close to that) years ago who cost their patrons a lot of money. After a while of tracking them, they became great fades, word got out about it and they closed shop. I doubt you're with them in any form or fashion just passing something on I recalled. I'll give your thread a read now and then. Thanks for visiting and good luck this season.

Made a small bet on Detroit because I'm going to tail you for a bit and also because the line made no sense. Verlander sucks... this should be a fun one to follow. One thing to remember, you are the one making the final call on what you choice to play (or not) and as such are responsible for all outcomes. The line for the Tigers games started out positive but kept getting hit the linesmen had to keep moving the juice - last I know and saw was shortly before the scheduled time and it was then up to -110 at some places. Jason V. isn't the same tosser he was a few ago and imo is having mechanical issues with his arm speed and delivery. I don't get a clear enough shot from the tube to check out his footwork so it come stem from there as well. He'll get his 14-18 wins this season once he gets those glitches taken care of. Glad you were to cash on the ones you followed, just be careful cherry picking. If you're looking for a "pretty" record person to tail, it's not me but if you're interested in making cash/money/units/your term keep coming back.

By 12k, do you mean $12k in winnings for the season? From my spreadsheet, it looks like we'd be at about $9k if St. Louis pulls it off. Did I miss some bets?

Also, don't think I've forgotten about tracking the team to score first like I said I would. I've just gotten really busy with work, school, etc, but come mid-May I'll have lots more time to get back to baseball.

I understand that the final decision to tail is always my own. I've realized I end up betting a lot of chalk some days and I'm just looking for a couple solid cappers to steer my picks. You appear to be someone who is doing pretty well this season and knows his stuff. I don't mind taking some losses if I can tail on some dogs and make that juice back.

That being said... I'm tailing you on the Cards because I like fading Livan Hernandez and I think Lohse can keep up his performance this season.

Some times one wins, other times lose - I ain't about a "pretty" record. I know a guy who went 12-3 his last 15 and owes me because he could keep "that guy" off him, so I took care of it for him and now he pays me and will help around here when a need general labor type people to help with the roofing projects this spring/summer. On the other side of the coin, I know a gal who's gone 3-7 her last 10 and settled up for the week walking away with over 2k. Bases isn't about pretty records but some insist it is, to each their own.

The 12k references something else. Sorry won't disclose it. Hope you understand as it's just one of those things.

, just wanted you to realize there will be days when things are not cash positive and that you and you alone are liable for your action - that applies to everyone as well. Keep things in proportion, unit wise, and you should do fine unless you go off on some cock-a-mannie stink. One needs to find a way that works for them, be it the barkers , the black boarders or a combo of them - long as said player is making it, let it ride. man, I'm just doing what I'm doing cuz it's what I do. Please remember to use the guide rails and keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times. Mu guess is you should be one happy mf'er right about now as the Cards got the 'W'.

"B" comes before "C" in the alphabet and Orioles also comes before White Sox in the alphabet.

On a more serious note (in part), I do not believe Eaton will put back-to-back-to-back losses in a row. Also, this comes from and is a system selection and I won't deviate from them.

T.A., what makes you lean so heavily on the Rockies? I'm trying to learn more here as I see the Dodgers as a huge favorite at a very favorable line. I checked into trends, splits, etc and nothing made me uncomfortable. Like I said, I just want to see your thoughts and what made you lean that way, it could help me in the future.

Before I answer, I'd like to thank you for asking the question in a civilized manner even if we're not on the same side of the game. The selection process says this is the play for the game. Will it be wrong or right? Only time will tell. I will tell you I do not deviate from the system. Yup, damned near every stat, trend, etc points to LA, yet I still take CO.
