Interesting Chart

All qualified pitchers from the start of 2012 to see who had the biggest splits versus lefties and righties. These pitchers had an xFIP of 4.00 or less versus hitters of the same handedness and an xFIP much higher versus hitters of the opposite handedness.

There is a mistake in categorizing the pitchers as left handers or right handers, but none the less, Colon is facing a team who is in the top 3 in wRC vs right handers - he should have a tough time.

I haven't been making many bets lately but I love tonight's card and am thinking about making some plays.

We're getting some pretty stupid value. As always, it doesn't mean the teams will win but tonight could be one of those nights were you go 3/3 and make nice profit.

I like the following:

NYY
LAA (Astros have owned them but I think they win tonight)

It seems like I like way too many plays. Six of my leans are the same as the plays No Coin is making.

I took the Yankees -101 and then like 2 minutes afterwards they go to +104. Every time this happens, my bet loses. I promised myself next time it happened I would got 3x on the other side.

Seriously contemplating taking Balty now. My gut tells me this Yankee bet is a loser and my gut is usually right.

I'll let it ride one more time. I understand the Yankees are banged up and CC hasn't been great but it seemed like a decent wager at around even money.

I suck betting Baltimore, for or against. Period. Have for years. So I have no advice there -- LOL.
