Yep, Cleveland's been rocking lately. I was just happy to see that Kazmir did well. He probably won't be able to keep it up all year, but it's a hell of a lot better than pitching for the Sugarland Skeeters.

Um, both? I don't play a game if I don't believe there is value there. Take the Detroit game for example, Vegas says that to get even money on both sides of the line (I know this isn't exactly how Vegas sets lines, but let's assume for the sake of this argument that it is) they set it at -200 because Detroit should win 67% of the time. I actually think Detroit will win this particular game more often than that so I take them. The high juice doesn't bother me even if I lose, because I know that I'll be a winner in the long run.
Some people see that as being square and just "betting for winning", but I see value.

I appreciate the answer man, and I understand what you mean. I guess what Im getting at is that some ppls definition of value is differen. For example going with your example if thr Tigers, some ppl wouldnt play it, even if they feel its a winner because of its high price. To them there isnt value, even if its a winner.

Fortunately there are lots of people that won't pay juice over -150. Those folks are what gives this Tigers game value; otherwise it might be priced closer to -250 where I think it probably should be.

I just don't see much of an angle for Cleveland. Kluber's pitched as well as Scherzer recently, albeit in a smaller sample size, and their defense is superior. Everything else falls in Detroit's favor, IMO.

And then they promptly shit the bed. The HP ump was consistently terrible during the whole game which I think allowed Buehrle to stay in it. It benefited Buchholz too, of course, but he doesn't need those off-the-plate strikes nearly as much as Buehrle.
I could also be making crap up to make me feel better.
