very interesting.. it's declined alot over the years and declined substantially very recently.
author doesn't mention it but so much parity these days. so many teams have improved in east and not that many falloffs (indiana will be back next year) ........... although i'd have to think through the math between parity vs. dominant/terrible teams league. i think they both push you towards 50%.
