    is this ON again!?

Warriors looking as good as ever... CAVS II looking like a contender.
getting more cozy... Mozgov much better fit than Varejao

indeed.. both of these teams looking great. Warriors a bit spent from all the winning,
but they storm right back, should be interesting

Hard to pick between the two.
but edge may go to experience.

    CAVS Starting 5 is better.
Curry playing out of his mind, but not better than Lebron. (who is?)

    Kyrie vs. Klay both awesome.
    Movgov stronger/faster than Bogut

Warriors don't have an extra guy to take out LOVE on the glass..
JR Smith more accurate from 3 than Iguadala

Cabs would take it. (not easy) but i think they edge GSW

Ratzzstrodamus....LOL.....you might be on to something here....still early but its looking good!!!....This would be the ideal match up for the NBA...Silver might have to pull a Sterling and make it happen...Atlanta might get the Crawford special if need be..LOL....watch out folks...

    nothing is 100%

but this team is damn good, and who would beat them in a series on the road?

    Clippers.. unlikely..

    Spurs.. too old/tired

    Blazers.. nope..

Grizzlies are the only team with a chance to beat GSW, in my opinion

I don't see anyone from the west besting the warriors in a series with the way they play bar Grizzlies and east, there's only one team named Cleveland.

Cavs just get more comfortable and better..

not only do they seem the best in the East, they seem like a NBA Champion already.
all the guys look really relaxed..

nobody plays over 30 minutes anymore, or rarely..
they almost always win the first 3 Qtrs... then lose the 4th by 8 pts. or more–

and stil manage to win by double-digits

hard to see anyone in the East except the Hawks give them a really hard time, Toronto possibly
but i think Cavs will be the No.2 Seed

The main reason Golden State is so dangerous that many people don't seem to be mentioning is because of how hard it is to win in their building. If they have the number 1 seed you have to win at least once in their building. And if they take 1 of 3 in yours - you have to take 2 of 4 in theirs which is basically impossible.

Memphis is still my pick but for that reason you can't minimize Golden State's chances. LOL at people who think homecourt doesn't matter. Seeding doesn't matter in the sense that most teams in the West are pretty even so it doesn't really matter who you play, but homecourt is everything. Especially given many of those series could go the distance.

i totally agree.. i think that Miami beats San Antonio with home court last year, it matters.
As it did the previous year.

Miami beat OKC without home-court, but it usually is a clincher, or worth one full game to swing the series

Last season and the 2012 Finals were mismatches. Homecourt wouldn't have really changed much in either of those series IMO.

I would anticipate many close series in the West this year though so HCA will certainly matter. And the Warriors HCA is something else. Winning a playoff game there is some seriously tough shit.

not when that team is mentally defeated. The Warriors think that they are better than everyone else except the Cavs.

how they think of themselves and their opponent is a significant factor

i do still think it will be the Warriors vs. the Cavs

starting 5 on both just kill everybody else in both Conferences..

and bottom line it will be the Cavs i think,
the best player on the Cavs (LeBron)
is better than the best player on the Warriors (Curry)

is Klay Thompson better than Kyrie Irving? so much so that it negates LeBon over Curry?

    Love is better than Iguadala,

ESPN has these two teams on a collision course, i do as well.

Cavs handling the Grizzlies AT HOME so easily.. WOW

when was the last time the Grizzlies allowed 100 pts at home in a LOSS?

Cavs will rest starters in the 4th i am sure.

up 25 pts with 5 minutes left in the 3rd

you wrote this quite along time ago.. Menses,

but i wonder if it's not happening now.. GSW is 10-0 in their last 10

i think it is important to get in some quality losing in before the playoffs start
better for them to lose a couple i think, before they really count.

nobody can catch them.. it is just for regular season records now. which is meaningless (imo)

Wow ratzz was spot on ive just seen this thread!!

Its not that Cavz are unbeatable its just that the East is rubbish, the only team i can see beating Cavz are the Bulls..and they will meet in the second round, winner will play ATL in East Con finals..and i just can't see ATL beating Cavs in a 7game series.

The west is even..G.state v okc..okc might get 1-2games max! Houston v Dallas..flip a coin(leaning Hou if howard is 100%), Memphis vs spurs 1st round give me spurs, Port vs Clips will prob go 7 games..
    G.state v Clips/port = G.state in 5/6 games, Houston v Spurs = spurs in 6
    G.state v Spurs = 7game series with G.state holding on..

    G.state vs Cavz final = G.state in 6games

hey Ant2nv... i am thinking Cavs in 6..

i like your breakdown of the West, sounds pretty good..
i think GSW winning too much down the stretch, at least NBA is series based.. not like NCAA

people need to relax, play bad.. can't be "on" all the time..

great job on your picks.. let's see if it goes don like that..
i think Spurs won't be able to roll late with the young legs.. any OT game they would fade late

Yeah spurs are old & run out of Gas but are winners.. they slow the game down, play at their speed and are tough to beat in a 7 game series, i worry abit about G.state being nervous late in games, spurs have the experience.

In the east its interesting now with paul george returning, indy might get 8th seed and set up Atl vs Indy first round..if Millsap is injured i give indy a 50/50 chance.

i still give the edge to legs, speed and late game endurance. Spurs can't win in OT, they have shown that all year.
Warriors over the Spurs, if they meet. They may not meet.. the Clippers may do it to San Antonio

i think the NBA Finals will boil down to one thing:

    WHO WINS ON THE ROAD?..
    the Cavs or the Warriors.

whoever takes care of that, will take it all
