11/10 - NBA Plays for Saturday
We had 2 wins and a push tonight, which is a good result as it takes the YTD to 11W-2P-5L.
    2 plays for tomorrow though thus far ;

    Denver -1

Denver are starting to find some form after a slow start to the season. Having lost to Philly, Orlando and Miami they have now won 3 straight against Detroit, Houston and Utah. Denver have talent at every position, and there defense has improved immensely from picking up Igoudala and McGee. They have an array of bench talent especially bigs with Koufous and Mozgov both 7'0''+ coming off the bench, although Koufous has been starting so far this season. Golden State are without big man Andrew Bogut who is suffering ankle problems. In saying that I think the 3 center's for Denver will play a big part in this game, David Lee will be asked to play the #5 throughout the game for a certain number of minutes, which will hurt GS as they don't have the options off the bench that Denver do. Grab this line now at -1 before it raises, Denver will go to GS and I think in a high scoring affair take this game quite comfortably.

    Boston +2

Milwaukee beat Boston 99-88 on opening night, and have since won 2 more games against Cleveland and Washington. They are off to a good start this season, but Brandon Jennings is facing suspension for his ejection in the game against the wizards. I liked this line even before I learned about BJ's possible suspension, and it makes me like it even more. Behind Jennings and Ellis the bucks back court is fairly slim, and with the majority of their scoring coming from their back court so far this season as well as last season, I don't see them being able to put up enough points to win against the Celtics. Milwaukee beat Washington while Boston lost to Philly, Boston haven't had the best start to the season, and will deffinately be looking at this game as a must win for them. Good spot for Boston here to grab a W, and a let down spot for Milwaukee, add the possible suspension of Jennings, and it's music to my ears. Grab this line at +1.5 or +2 depending on your book.

Another game I'm looking at is the Phoenix @ Utah game. Interesting to note that Phoenix has given up 105+ points in their previous 4 games at an average of 113.5. I will be looking at this game with interest, and may have a play on it,

Will probably have a few prop bets when they come out at my book, usually successful with them.

You taking Milwaukee? I like Phoenix here, no Mo Will for Utah, and +9 is a lot to cover, I think Utah will win but it will be a close game.

        Phoenix +9

Phoenix have won 2 in a row, Utah coming off an embarrassing defeat in Denver. Utah will want to win this one, and have been good at home thus far this season, except they will have to make do without Mo Williams in their lineup. Phoenix went down a large margin before crawling back against the Cavs yesterday, and they will not want to go down a big margin again. Which is why I think Phoenix fight hard in this game right until the end, I think they might even get out to an early lead, and thinking of making a 1Q play, it should be a close game in the end, and Phoenix cover the 9 points.

        Dallas -6

No brainer for me, if they put together a better performance tonight, and Mayo makes his shots like he has been all season long, without turning the ball over (Mayo had 8TO vs Knicks) then Dallas will comfortably cover this spread. Will probably play a prop again for this game on Mayo, Ben Gordon will not be able to guard him, neither will Taylor.

Keep an eye out for some prop plays if I make them, will post them a few hours before tip off.

          Paul Pierce over 19.5 points

Last time these two teams met Boston lost at home. Pierce played 28 minutes and shot 3-11 for 11 points. Boston will be desperate for a win at the Bradley centre, and Pierce, one of their Big 3, one of their leaders will be the head of this charge, pushing Boston over the line. Pierce should play a few extra minutes then he did in the last game, he will get up above the 30 minute mark, and I don't expect him to shoot 3-11 again. Pierce knows that this is a must win game, and it's in spots like these, were big players come up with big games for there team. I think Pierce gets to the foul line alot tonight, and will score around 25 against the Bucks.

          Good luck guys!

Thanks bud, cheers for the winner last night on the over for Del Porto

Brown is so energetic off the bench, great assest for the Suns, he went 6-8 from 3pt in the 4th the other night! Lakers should have held onto him for sure.

As a lakers fan I was sad to see him go. 80-90M payroll and they couldn't spend more than 2M on brown. Sad.

... But Luke Fukcing Walton gets 10M and Sasha "the Machine" vujacic... - actually I better stop now.
