Bitter London rivals meet at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (12:30 p.m. ET, Peacock), and I’m backing the Blues to get the better of the Lilywhites in my Chelsea vs. Tottenham prediction.

Chelsea are the -140 moneyline betting favorite for the feverishly anticipated match. I’m also honing in on two player props, both of whom have terrorized Spurs recently.

Chelsea vs. Tottenham best bet

Check out all of our soccer betting analysis and expert predictions this season.

Chelsea moneyline (-140 via BetMGM)

Unbeaten in two Premier League matches, Tottenham’s form has been better of late. But I take the uptick with a grain of salt, given they played a reeling Manchester United and a fourth-from-bottom Coventry.

Stamford Bridge has been a house of horrors for Tottenham, who have won once in the last 36 visits. That victory came in 2017-18 under Mauricio Pochettino's tutelage.

I’m backing Chelsea to beat Tottenham 2-1.

📡 SBR Edge - home cooking

Chelsea have won six in a row against Spurs in the league, and the Blues are in decent form, winning consecutive matches for the second time since Xabi Alonso took the coaching reins at the start of the season.

More Chelsea vs. Tottenham expert picks

Joao Pedro goal or assist (-145 via FanDuel)

Joao Pedro has eight goal contributions in six Premier League appearances, netting five goals and three assists. He should cause fits for a vulnerable Spurs rearguard that has conceded 10 goals in seven matches.

Pedro has scored in all three matches at Stamford Bridge, bagging four goals against Bournemouth, Hull, and Brighton. He added two assists, making it six goal contributions in just 252 minutes.

To sweeten the pot, Pedro has three goals and an assist in the last two matches against Tottenham.

Cole Palmer goal or assist (-120 via FanDuel)

Cole Palmer has two goals and three assists in seven top-flight matches. While a solid return, it’s his consistency at Stamford Bridge and against Tottenham that have me backing the Englishman to make his mark.

Palmer has a goal contribution in each of Chelsea’s three home matches, assisting against Bournemouth and Hull while scoring against Brighton in the opener.

And he loves playing Spurs, with three goals and two assists in five meetings.
