The Edmonton Oilers host the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Place for Game 4, with puck drop set for tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET. Here are our best Canucks-Oilers predictions based on the best NHL odds

After scoring an overtime win in Game 2, the Edmonton Oilers (49-27-6) suffered another crushing one-goal loss at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks (50-23-9), who hold a 2-1 series lead heading into Game 4 at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

The host Oilers are heavy favorites across our best sports betting sites to win tonight's Game 4, which begins at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. They're also among the favorites by the latest Stanley Cup odds even as they trail the Canucks in this series.

Canucks vs. Oilers predictions for Tuesday

Leon Draisaitl Over 1.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Leon Draisaitl is playing injured, though you can't tell. It's almost as if Draisaitl took the same pill Bradley Cooper did in the 2011 thriller "Limitless." You can't be faulted for not recalling the premise of the forgettable film, but just reread the title, and you'll know all you need to.

Consumed by sheer will, determination, and a limitless supply (sorry, I couldn't help myself) of anger, Draisaitl has 10 points in his last four playoff outings, including eight in three games versus the Canucks.

The aforementioned anger will probably be accentuated in the wake of the Game 3 defeat, in which Draisaitl registered five of the Oilers' 45 shots, excluding his second-period breakaway attempt that struck iron. At +112, FanDuel offers the best value. The implied probability of the odds is 47.17%, according to our odds converter, and a $10 winning wager pays a profit of $11.20.

Best odds: +112 via FanDuel

Zach Hyman anytime goal ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Oilers had the worst puck luck I've seen in recent memory in Game 3, striking four posts while missing a handful more golden scoring opportunities. They were about as unlucky as a passenger sat next to a set of perpetually wailing infant triplets on a long-haul flight.

While Zach Hyman failed to score in Games 2 and 3, the Oilers' marksman was buzzing. And, like the rest of his teammates, he deserved much better. He has scored at least one goal in five of eight playoff contests and leads all skaters with nine tallies.

It looked like Hyman scored the Oilers' fourth goal in Game 3, but the puck had already crossed the line before he helped. Hyman had eight shots on goal in Game 3 and came close numerous times.

At +105, bet365 offers the best value. You will profit $10.50 if your $10 wager hits. The implied probability is 48.78%. Backing Hyman to get over 3.5 shots is another solid bet, which you can find at -135.

Best odds: +105 via bet365

Connor McDavid Over 1.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

Finally, a plus-money Connor McDavid bet. While by no means an easy one, McDavid can rack up assists faster than a nurse on an emergency room shift. And, like Draisaitl, he will be particularly perturbed.

McDavid took a simultaneous cross-check to the back and punch to the face at the end of Game 3, which should incite a Category-5-like response from the Oilers captain.

McDavid, who was held off the scoresheet for the first time in the playoffs in Game 3, usually bounces back like a squash ball smashed onto the ground at point-blank range. He will be amped and raring to go, which should prove problematic for the Canucks.

McDavid notched at least two assists in four of eight postseason contests thus far, including three in Game 2. At +126, FanDuel pays a profit of $12.60 on a winning $10 wager. The implied probability is 44.25%.

Best odds: +126 via FanDuel
