Now that the San Francisco 49ers are eliminated from the NFL playoffs, they're the favorites to land future Hall-of-Fame QB Tom Brady this offseason. Here are our NFL picks for which team Brady will play for next based on the best NFL odds.

Has Tom Brady played his last snap for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? The 45-year-old quarterback endured a tumultuous season both on and off the field and can test free agency again for only the second time in his career.

After a disappointing 8-9 season that ended with a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round Monday night, will Brady return to Tampa, hang up his cleats, or is he ready to move on to another team?

Here are our top picks for Tom Brady's next team (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star rating).

Tom Brady next team picks

San Francisco 49ers (+150)

Some sportsbooks have recently posted a market for the 49ers' Week 1 starter under center, with Brady listed as the favorite. That correlates with DraftKings' pricing in this market which gives San Francisco an implied probability of 40.00% to land the hometown star.

The Niners already have ties to Jimmy Garoppolo, Trey Lance, and Brock Purdy, but after coming just one win shy of making it to Super Bowl 57, they'll surely be all-in for what would undoubtedly be an upgrade at the most important position.

Las Vegas Raiders (+175) ⭐⭐⭐

The Buccaneers are currently the betting favorites to retain the services of Brady, but as we've seen this season, Tampa Bay is far from the title contender of the previous two seasons. Brady's rapport with the Bucs receivers cratered, he had no trust in the weak offensive line, and the defense was unable to hold up its end of the bargain. There are just too many holes to plug on this leaky ship.

If Brady seeks greener pastures, the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to be in the running. The Raiders were said to be in hot pursuit of Brady last time he hit free agency, until former head coach Jon Gruden nixed the deal.

Did the Raiders end their relationship with quarterback Derek Carr with the expectation that they would pursue Brady in free agency? Head coach Josh McDaniels was Brady's offensive coordinator with the New England Patriots.

In Vegas, Brady would have All-Pro receiver Davante Adams, stud tight end Darren Waller, and slot ace Hunter Renfrow to throw to. He could also have one of the best running games if the team re-signs All-Pro rusher Josh Jacobs.

The offensive line would require major work, as would a defense that ranked 28th in the league, but those areas could be addressed with the more than $34 million in available cap space the team is projected to have this offseason, according to Over the Cap.

Brady is also said to prefer the West Coast. As long as the team addresses the O-Line and defense, Las Vegas may be the ideal landing spot.

This is a three-star pick for me as retirement is still a real possibility. Brady will be 46 next season and already has a lucrative broadcasting gig lined up for when he does step away.

Editor's note: The best odds available for the Raiders are +150 via DraftKings as of Friday, Jan. 27.

Miami Dolphins (+750) ⭐⭐⭐

Next on the odds list are the San Francisco 49ers and the Patriots. The Niners have a championship roster and the draw of being Brady's childhood team, but they may already be set at quarterback with Brock Purdy and Trey Lance.

The Patriots would offer perhaps the best storyline, but the team still lacks the offensive weapons Brady seeks.

That takes us to Miami. The Dolphins own perhaps the league's best collection of offensive firepower and a creative, offensive-minded head coach in Mike McDaniel. Also, owner Stephen Ross was suspended and fined $1.5 million for trying to lure Brady while he was still under contract with the Bucs.

McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier have expressed that Tua Tagovailoa will be their starting quarterback next season, but that's assuming Tua will be at full health after his 2022-23 season was cut short due to multiple concussions.

If Tagovailoa has to step away to protect his health, you'll be happy you're holding a +750 ticket.
