🚀 Colts vs. Chiefs parlay picks
Chiefs -5.5 (-130 via FanDuel)
Not to take anything away from the Ravens, but the Colts defense was a special brand of bad in Week 1, surrendering over 200 yards on the ground while Lamar Jackson diced them up through the air for 324 yards in a 41-23 final.
At home in Week 1, the Chiefs looked like world beaters in a 21-point shellacking of the Broncos. While DraftKings offers a better spread at Chiefs -6, we’re taking an alt spread at FanDuel for this parlay because the other two legs are so much more favorable there -- and the overall odds difference is negligible.
Kenneth Walker Over 79.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)
The Chiefs signed Kenneth Walker to take some pressure off Patrick Mahomes, and we saw it in Week 1 in the style of offense that Kansas City utilized. Walker toted the rock 23 times for 173 yards and faces an even more favorable matchup this week.
Derrick Henry ran for 144 yards while averaging 6.0 YPC against this Colts defense last week. FanDuel lists Walker’s rushing line at 79.5 yards, providing a huge edge compared to 83.5 yards at DraftKings.
Patrick Mahomes Over 17.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)
Indianapolis gave up the third-most rushing yards across the NFL in Week 1, and it wasn’t just the running back position doing damage. Lamar Jackson scampered for 40 yards on just seven rushing attempts.
Though designed runs might be few and far between for Patrick Mahomes coming off ACL surgery, he showed in Week 1 that he’s still willing to scramble when the situation dictates. Mahomes racked up 23 rushing yards on seven attempts against a stout Denver defense.
His line is one yard lower at FanDuel (17.5 yards) compared to DraftKings (18.5 yards).
