The Golden State Warriors are winless on the road in 2022-23. Can they get their first victory away from home against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday? Read on for our top Warriors-Suns picks.

The Warriors are just 6-8 in 2022-23, but they've won three of their last four games. However, all of those victories came at home. They're winless after seven road games, with a 10.5-point average margin of defeat.

They'll take on a great home team in the Suns on Wednesday. Phoenix is 6-1 at home this season, and earlier in the campaign the Suns defeated the Warriors 134-105. They've lost three of their last four games, but all of those defeats have come on the road.

Here are our Warriors-Suns NBA picks for Wednesday (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook and BetMGM; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Warriors vs. Suns Odds Analysis

The Suns opened as 1.5-point favorites, and though the line very briefly moved to two, it's since shifted in the opposite direction. The Warriors are now just one-point underdogs, making this one a pick ‘em.

As for the total, the line opened at 227.5 before dropping all the way to 225. It then bounced back to 226 at DraftKings, PointsBet, and FanDuel, and 226.5 through BetMGM.

Warriors vs. Suns Moneyline Pick

Warriors (-105) ★★★

The Warriors have been playing better after losing five straight and dropping to 3-7 on the season. Steph Curry has scored 40-plus points in two of his last four games, and the team's defense is allowing 109 points per game over its last five.

Suns point guard Chris Paul has been sidelined with a heel injury since Nov. 7, and he's listed as questionable for Wednesday. He scored 16 points while dishing out nine assists during the first meeting between the two teams in 2022-23. Without him, the Suns will struggle offensively.

This line seems like it was made with the assumption Paul won’t play. But he likely won't be fully healthy even if Paul does suit. Keep an eye on the injury report, but take the Warriors to win anyway as small road underdogs.

Warriors vs. Suns O/U Pick

Under 226.5 (-110) ★★★

Games played in Phoenix result in low scores. Only the Suns’ 134-105 victory over the Warriors went over 225 points during the team's seven home contests. The highest total was 223 over the last four games in Phoenix, and the average is 211.

The Suns played well in Minnesota during their first game after Paul’s injury, but they've been struggling offensively over the team's last two contests. They’re averaging just 104.5 points per game and allowing 113.5.

The Suns’ defense will keep the Warriors in check enough. But their offense isn't going to do enough to push this one over, with or without Paul.

Warriors vs. Suns Prop Pick

Klay Thompson Over 16.5 points (-122) ★★★

Klay Thompson produced one of the worst shooting nights of his career the last time these teams met. He went just 1-for-8 shooting from the field and 0-for-5 from 3-point range. Thompson also played just 19 minutes because of his first career NBA ejection.

However, Thompson has seemed to settle into the season since that game, scoring 16-plus points in five of his last seven. The veteran is averaging 21 points per game across his last three road contests, all while attempting 16.6 3-pointers per matchup.

His line is listed at 17.5 at DraftKings and PointsBet for a much more favorable price. He's definitely worth a play at either of those sportsbooks.
