The Phoenix Suns play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves, as we pick the best Timberwolves vs. Suns NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Timberwolves and Suns will meet for the second time in the 2023-24 season on Friday at 10 p.m. ET at the Footprint Center. Their first matchup on Nov. 15 resulted in a 133-115 victory for the Suns in Phoenix.

The Timberwolves have been cracking down defensively since then while allowing the fewest points per game in the league. Karl-Anthony Towns won’t play for Minnesota on Friday, and Jusuf Nurkic and Grayson Allen both face game-time decisions for the Suns.

Bradley Beal Over 14.5 points (-120 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

Beal is in the middle of a serious slump. He averages 17.4 points per game, but the veteran hasn’t hit that number in eight contests. He’s scored 10 or fewer points four times during that span, including his seven-point performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Even though Beal has only notched 15 points once in his last eight outings, he’s been shooting better across his last few matchups. He’s made three 3-pointers in three of his last four games, and Beal shot over 60% against the New Orleans Pelicans. He’s facing the best-scoring defense in the league on Friday, but this number is finally low enough that it’s worth taking his Over.

The price for this prop could be better, which is why this is only a three-star play. FanDuel is offering over 15.5 points for +100. While that price is great, Beal has topped that total just once in his last 10 outings. Take the lowest number for the best price at BetMGM.

Rudy Gobert Over 13.5 rebounds (+100 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Gobert has pulled down at least 14 rebounds in back-to-back games. He'll break that streak on Friday if Nurkic is unable to play. And Gobert’s Over is still the right play even if Nurkic is in the lineup, especially at FanDuel’s price.

The Suns are allowing the third-fewest rebounds in the league. A lot of that is tied to them being the fourth-best shooting team, which leads to fewer opportunities for their opponents on the glass. But the Timberwolves boast the league's top shooting defense, and they’re going to force the Suns to miss more shots than usual. That will work out in Gobert’s favor down low.

Kevin Durant Under 2.5 three-pointers made (-105 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Durant has made at least three 3-pointers in five consecutive games, but Friday’s matchup should bring an end to that streak. The Timberwolves are allowing the third-fewest points off 3-pointers, and teams are shooting just 35.0% against them from deep.

Though Durant has been shooting the three more lately, he’s still averaging just 2.3 makes per game in 2023-24. In a matchup that doesn’t favor him shooting much from beyond the arc, look for the superstar to score with mid-range shots while he allows other Suns shooters to attempt to navigate a tough perimeter defense.
