Best bets today from around the NBA.

Scoring props slot in prominently on a jam-packed Wednesday schedule, and our NBA player props and best bets are based on the best NBA odds.

The NBA’s final full slate before the All-Star break comes to us Wednesday, and the Association’s schedule-makers crammed 13 games into a loaded evening ahead of a three-contest night on Thursday.

We have four player props lined up to help you profit before next week’s lull. Rookie Brandon Miller has been hitting his stride lately, and we’ll look toward his points prop in a favorable matchup as the Charlotte Hornets host the Atlanta Hawks.

Tyler Herro and the shorthanded Miami Heat face the Philadelphia 76ers, and we’ll target another points prop as Herro takes the reins of the offense. With Bennedict Mathurin out and Tyrese Haliburton questionable, the Indiana Pacers will look to Aaron Nesmith to provide a spark on offense against the Toronto Raptors.

What better way to cap off our quartet of props than with an alien sighting? Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs face the Dallas Mavericks, and Wemby has a chance to feast.

In addition to our Bulls-Cavaliers NBA player props and Clippers vs. Warriors NBA player props, here are our NBA player props and best bets for Wednesday (NBA picks based on odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Wednesday’s NBA player props

Brandon Miller Over 24.5 points vs. Hawks (+280 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

FanDuel is offering a 30% boost for one NBA live bet on Wednesday. Don't forget to use our FanDuel promo code! Offer excludes Ontario.

Miller’s scoring has taken a dip across his last three outings, as he’s averaged just 15.3 points per contest in that span. His shooting has been just a tick under 47% from the floor, so efficiency hasn’t been the issue. He’s taken fewer shot attempts in that span, but he should have the green light to let ‘er rip in one of the best spots a guard can be in - a matchup with the hapless Hawks defense.

Prior to his three-game “slump,” Miller had a six-game run in which he averaged 27.7 points and eclipsed 25 points four times. Atlanta’s defense has been crushed to the tune of 123.9 points per game this season, which is the most in the Association.

Over their last five games, Atlanta has surrendered 29 points to Ayo Dosunmu and 20 to Coby White against the Chicago Bulls, 26 to Jalen Green against the Houston Rockets, 21 to Derrick White against the Boston Celtics, 30 to James Harden against the Los Angeles Clippers, and 60 to Steph Curry against the Golden State Warriors.

Miller has six games with at least 25 points this season, and four have come within the last three weeks. He’s hot right now, and to make this one even sweeter, he averages 17.1 points at home compared to 15.5 on the road. His points prop is set at 19.5 across our best sports betting sites, but we’re climbing the ladder in a big way. Take the plus-money and the bounce-back effort from the rookie.

Tyler Herro Over 21.5 points vs. 76ers (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

bet365 is offering a 30% boost for a 3+ leg parlay on Wednesday. Be sure to use our bet365 bonus code

Herro hasn’t exactly set the world on fire as of late, but he’s averaged 20.3 points over his last four outings, dropping at least 22 points twice in that span. Jimmy Butler, Josh Richardson, and Terry Rozier are all sidelined, which means Herro will have to pick up the slack on offense.

Over the last 10 games, Philadelphia has surrendered the fourth most points per game to opponents at 122.6 and the fourth most 3-pointers at 14.6. The team has been cooked by opposing guards, giving up 36 points to the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell, 25 to the Washington Wizards’ Tyus Jones, and 37 to the Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young over their last three games. With a favorable matchup and extra responsibilities on tap for Herro, we’ll gladly take the Over.

Aaron Nesmith Over 14.5 points vs. Raptors (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Place one three-plus leg NBA parlay through DraftKings on Wednesday, and get a bonus bet back if one leg loses. Use our DraftKings promo code.

Nesmith has taken on a larger role in Indiana’s offense over the last three weeks, and we’re banking on another strong showing in the scoring department on Wednesday. Over his last 12 games, Nesmith has averaged 16.3 points and scored at least 15 in seven games. Haliburton is questionable, and Mathurin is sidelined, opening up even more opportunities for Nesmith.

In three games without Mathurin this season, Nesmith averaged 17.7 points and scored at least 15 twice. Both of those games were on the road, and Nesmith averages 13.6 points per game there compared to just 11.9 at home. On the season, Toronto allows the 11th most points per game, but over their last 10, the Raptors have surrendered 123 points per game, good for third most. This isn’t a lofty line for Nesmith to hit, so the Over is our best bet.

Victor Wembanyama Over 36.5 points+rebounds+assists vs. Mavericks (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

It’s hard to bet against Wemby hitting this mark in such a favorable matchup. The Mavericks allow the 10th most points and the second most rebounds to opponents this season. Over their last three games, the Mavs have given up 22/15/2 to Marvin Bagley III and Richaun Holmes of the Washington Wizards, 13/16/3 to Precious Achiuwa of the New York Knicks, and 13/12 to Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder in just 22 minutes.

Wemby has averaged 35.6 PRAs in 28.3 minutes over his last 13 games and eclipsed 37 PRAs seven times. He hit this mark 18 times on the season and is averaging 33.7 PRAs through 48 appearances. Fresh off a historic 10-block triple-double against the Raptors, we’ll bank on him staying hot in this great spot.
