The WNBA regular season will resume for a 10-day sprint following the international break.

With all eight teams having secured a playoff berth, these final days will serve as a tune-up for the postseason while teams battle for positioning. That makes it the perfect time for bettors to attack the WNBA championship odds market to assess the best value options in the market.

Minnesota Lynx (+100)

Despite not having Napheesa Collier until late July and having to replace multiple rotation players from last year's team, the Minnesota Lynx once again find themselves atop the regular-season standings. With Collier and Olivia Miles leading the way, the Lynx are rightful favorites to win their first title since 2017.

Las Vegas Aces (+675)

A'ja Wilson rested during the FIBA World Cup, which should terrify the rest of the league entering the postseason. She's led the Las Vegas Aces to three championships in the past four years. Are you willing to doubt the greatest player in WNBA history?

Golden State Valkyries (+800)

After an impressive debut season in the league, the Golden State Valkyries are now an elite team in Year 2. If defense really wins championships, Golden State is well positioned. The Valkyries lead the league in defensive rating by more than three points.

Atlanta Dream (+900)

The Atlanta Dream haven't won a playoff series since 2018, falling in the first round for three consecutive seasons. Given their spot in the middle of the bracket, the Dream might have a tough best-of-three series to end the drought. But Atlanta is certainly talented enough to do it.

Indiana Fever (+1000)

The Indiana Fever won a playoff series and pushed the Las Vegas Aces to elimination without Caitlin Clark last year. So, imagine what this team is capable of doing this postseason with its franchise player. The Fever might actually be flying under the radar, ranking third in net rating.

New York Liberty (+1400)

Since entering the year as preseason title favorites, the New York Liberty have underperformed due to health issues. If the Liberty enter the postseason healthy, they could be a dangerous challenger. However, their closing schedule includes one matchup against the Lynx and two games against the Dream. They could fall in the standings.

🏆 My WNBA championship pick

Aces (+675)

Caesars offers the best price on the Aces to win a fourth title in five years, so I'll take advantage of their value and back the league's best player, who opted to rest over the last few weeks.

Given the Liberty's schedule to close the regular season, they are betting favorites to fall to the No. 8 seed. That would put the Liberty, Lynx, Dream, and Fever all on one side of the bracket. That would set up an ideal path for the Aces, who will have to figure out a new rotation after losing starter NaLyssa Smith for the year.

But I'm done doubting the goat. Wilson continues to find a way to put the team on her back each postseason, and nobody is better at hitting another level in the playoffs than the Aces. Their net rating was 3.7 points better in last year's playoffs than in the regular season. They also improved their net rating during title runs in 2022 and 2023.
