LEBANON, TENNESSEE - JUNE 26: Chase Elliott, driver of the #9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet, waves to fans onstage during driver intros prior to the NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway on June 26, 2022 in Lebanon, Tennessee. Drivers hit the road for the third time in 2022 in Elkhart, Wisconsin. Can Chase Elliott defend his 2021 win and take back-to-back races? Read on for our Kwick Trip 250 picks.

Chase Elliott took home the checkered flag after the first Cup Series race at Road America since 1956. Three Toyotas from Joe Gibbs Racing joined him in the top five in Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin, as well as Kurt Busch in his Ganassi Chevrolet.

The No. 9 car has yet to grab a victory on a road course, but Elliott has still logged two wins in 2022, including last week in Nashville. He'll look to make it two straight on a track style he’s dominated during his career.

Here are my outright picks for NASCAR’s Kwik Trip 250 at Road America (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, and BetMGM).

Kwik Trip 250 Odds Analysis

Elliott is the favorite across all the books on this road course, with very little deviation. Caesars and BetMGM are listing him as low as +450, with DraftKings and WynnBET offering slightly better value at +500.

There's a 200-point gap between Elliott and his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson. He's listed at +500 on Caesars, and +700 through BetMGM and DraftKings.

Who Will Win the Kwik Trip 250?

Elliott (+500)

Elliot has logged the most road-course wins of any active driver, and he ranks third all time. He won at this track in 2021 after leading 24 of the 62 laps. He ran 12 of the fastest laps and crossed the line five seconds before anyone else.

If his previous performance isn't enough, Elliott scored his second win of the season last week in Nashville, leading the last 39 laps of the Ally 400.

He's been a front-runner all season, logging 11 top-10 finishes with four top-five results and two wins over 17 races.

Chastain (+850)

The “Watermelon Man” has been one of the feel-good stories in 2022. Chastain’s two wins for the scrappy Trackhouse Racing team has put the squad in a position to be considered among the sport's best. One of those victories came in 2022 at the road course in Austin.

He was also among the top finishers two weeks ago in Sonoma, too. Overall, Chastain’s breakout season has resulted in a NASCAR-leading eight top-five results in 2022. One came last week in Nashville when he turned his seventh-place start into a fifth-place outcome.

Allmendinger (+1600)

A.J. Almendinger has notched eight road-track wins in the Xfinity Series. He also won the Indianapolis Grand Prix as a Cup driver in 2021. Most of his runs on the major circuit are on road courses.

He's won both road races in his Xfinity ride in 2022, including outlasting the field during a destructive day in Portland.

His best Cup series finish on road tracks was 19th at Sonoma. However, he's still considered a road course ringer for a reason and is always worth some action on these tracks.
