Marta Kostyuk ML (-128)
Kostyuk is on fire entering the French Open semifinal against No. 8 seed Andreeva. The Ukrainian won both clay-court events preceding the French Open, including against Andreeva in the Madrid Open final in straight sets.
Kostyuk also won the Open de Rouen, an entry-level spring WTA 250 event. She played in that event, which many of the top seeds don't enter, to become more familiar with the pressure of being a favorite throughout a tournament. And, of course, to gain confidence. She emphatically checked both boxes.
The No. 15 seed also brushed aside four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek in straight sets in the Round of 16, and she hasn't dropped a set against Andreeva in two meetings.
