A rivalry is renewed when the New York Yankees and New York Mets play their most anticipated Subway Series in years. Here are our Yankees-Mets same-game parlay picks.

The Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets always brings palpable buzz to the city of New York, but this running has the makings of something special. Both teams have a real chance to go to the World Series, making this a potential playoff preview.

Jordan Montgomery starts opposite Taijuan Walker here as both men try to fend off regression in the second half.

Here are my same-game parlay picks for Tuesday's matchup between the Yankees and Mets (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook).

Same-Game Parlay Predictions for Yankees vs. Mets

Yankees ML (-125)

Let's start with the easy leg, which is the Yankees. Walker's 2.55 ERA doesn't quite tell the story of his season, in fact, his numbers outside of these actual game-level results have been average at best.

The righty's strikeout rate is 2% lower than average, and his fastball has been rocked to the tune of a .274 expected batting average. The Yankees happen to rank second in the league against fastballs and also hit three homers off of Walker last year en route to a five-run output.

The Mets are 20th in wRC+ to lefties which should seriously aid Montgomery, as should the fact that he's been done in by home runs in the last few outings and gets to face a team that hardly hits any.

Kiner-Falefa 1+ RBIs (+195)

Isiah Kiner-Falefa is on the Yankees for his situational hitting. He is currently hitting .338 with runners in scoring position, getting to the plate 78 times in this situation. That means over 24% of his plate appearances have come with at least a runner on second, which is a pretty healthy number. The probabilities would indicate that Kiner-Falefa comes up at least once per game in an RBI situation.

In the last seven games - six of which have been starts - Kiner-Falefa owns six RBIs. Only twice has he started and not picked up a run batted in. I expect lots of scoring here for the Yankees and Kiner-Falefa should drive one in.

Lindor 2+ total bases (+130)

Francisco Lindor really showed up last year against the Yankees. He had eight hits in 21 at-bats including four homers, absolutely laying waste to the Subway Series in the midst of what was a relatively timid first season with the Mets.

I feel pretty good about Lindor continuing that trend of good games against the Mets' cross-town rivals. First off, he draws a left-hander Tuesday. Lindor has a .288 career average against southpaws with a robust .469 slugging percentage. He's also arguably the hottest hitter on the Mets with a hit in all but one of his last 14 games, and a .283 average and .500 slugging percentage in that time.

I think Lindor should pick up a pair of hits here, but we can cash this if he goes for his seventh extra-base hit in the last 15 games, too.

Combined odds: Yankees ML (-125) + Kiner-Falefa 1+ RBIs (+195) + Lindor 2+ TB (+130) = +850
