We swept the board for the second straight week as we had Pittsburgh, Texas, and Michigan getting huge value and all coming through for us at the betting windows. Let’s do it all again and keep crushing our bookies with our college football picks!

Akron vs. Bowling Green

Saturday, October 9, 2021 - 12:00 PM ET at Doyt L. Perry Stadium

Akron is currently residing in the basement of the MAC East with a 1-4 record and will try to rebound after getting beaten, 34-17, to conference rival, Ohio. Their only victory this season came against FCS entry, Bryant, back in the third week of their schedule when they drew away to a 35-14 win. It also happened to be the only time they covered the number.

Bowling Green has been an absolute delight for bettors and a beast for the books as they are 5-0 against the spread but only 2-3 straight up. Their last performance saw the Falcons bow, 27-20, to Kent in hostile territory but they covered the 16.5 point chalk with ease.

Now these two MAC rivals will square off and it’s certainly not surprising where the money is going in this one. Bowling Green, of course! Well, no, actually this line has dropped from 15.5 to 13.5 on the Falcons and the only major injury I see on either side is to Akron’s running back, Anthony Williams Jr., although he is not even their primary back.

Well, I’m sure there will be squares chasing the steam but not me, I’m happy to dip under the 14 and get BG at -13.5 and so should you!

Arkansas vs. Ole Miss

Saturday, October 9, 2021 - 12:00 PM ET at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium

This should be a good one to watch, a pair of SEC rivals looking for a scalp on Saturday, and the line opened with the home team laying 6.5 points at most shops and as high as -7 at others.

But the money is coming in on Arkansas which means we will be getting plenty of value on the home chalk in this one. As of this writing, the college football odds at the top sportsbooks show Ole Miss as low as -5 which is a pretty good value.

Unfortunately, five is not a number that is usually of any consequence but we don’t discriminate and we take’em as we see’em. Ole Miss got waxed by Bama, 42-21, last week while Arkansas was shut out by Georgia, 37-0.

Although the Razorbacks have a much stouter defense than the Rebels, they can’t compete with that high-octane offense, averaging nearly 45 points per game. Let’s lay it and like it in Oxford on Saturday afternoon.

Memphis vs. Tulsa

Saturday, October 9, 2021 - 9:00 PM ET at H.A. Chapman Stadium

A couple of cellar-dwellers from the AAC in a game nobody will care about except the alumni and those looking to exploit a weak number, like us.

The game opened with Tulsa laying -3 but that number has wiggled up to 3.5 which is only a half-point but it is the most critical half-point in football when the line is going onto, over, or under the magical three.

And although both teams are winless in the conference, Tulsa is 1-4 overall while Memphis is a respectable 3-2 on the relatively young season.

Memphis scores a whopping 37.4 points per game while Tulsa scores just 22.2 points per game. Defensively, it’s a statistical jump ball, with both teams allowing about 32.5 points per game.

Look, I’m not excited about this game and neither are you. But something tells me we are getting the better team with a very critical head start. Why not exploit what most sports betting sites are giving us and grab the points with the visitor? That just seems to make sense but we’re not here to make cents, we’re here to make dollars. Plenty of them!
