Oddsmakers expect the Georgia Bulldogs to bulldoze the TCU Horned Frogs on Monday night. TCU has relished the underdog role all season, including its win over Michigan in the college football playoff. Here are our top TCU-Georgia SGP picks based on the best college football odds.

TCU (13-1) has defied the odds to reach the CFP National Championship Game. Facing a heavily-favored defending champion Georgia (14-0), can the Horned Frogs do it one more time to force a compelling game on Monday night?

SGP Predictions for TCU vs. Georgia

TCU +13.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Georgia is 7-7 ATS with its mediocre performance for bettors coming down to otherworldly expectations. The Bulldogs have been favored by an average of 25.5 points per game this season. While Georgia is the undefeated defending national champion, I haven’t seen enough to convince me that a two-touchdown blowout is on the cards against this opponent.

TCU boasts one of the best records against the spread in college football, going 10-3-1 ATS and 3-0 ATS as an underdog. TCU’s only loss came in overtime of the Big XII Championship Game against Kansas State, and you could argue that replay missed a TCU touchdown that would have swung the outcome in the other direction.

The Horned Frogs handled Michigan’s elite defense and should move the ball enough on Georgia to keep things respectable. DraftKings lists TCU at +12.5 with attractive odds at -105. The FanDuel offering is more intriguing, though, as we’re getting a full point to +13.5 and only paying a slight premium from -105 to -110 to do it.

Over 62.5 (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

TCU games are 8-6 on Overs this season while contests involving Georgia have gone just 6-8 on Overs. Those admittedly are underwhelming season-long trends for a game involving such a high total.

Although only three Georgia games have cleared this total, all of those instances have come within the Bulldogs’ last five games. Both of Georgia’s postseason performances have hit the Over, with the SEC Championship Game against LSU hitting 80 and the Peach Bowl against Ohio State reaching 83 points. Georgia’s grinding defensive style has had to take a back seat as it has engaged in shootouts with more capable offenses recently.

TCU has another such offense. The Horned Frogs boast an almost identical scoring average to Georgia’s at 39.7 points per game and have played nine games that have gone Over Monday’s total. DraftKings lists the total at 63.5 points with heavy -120 odds if you want to include an Over bet within a Same Game Parlay. FanDuel offers more favorable odds on a better line with a total at 62.5 and -114 odds on the Over.

Duggan Over 30.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If it’s going to keep pace with Georgia, TCU can’t afford mistakes. That means Max Duggan’s decision-making has to be on point, knowing there will be times when he simply has to tuck the ball and get what he can rather than risk throwing it into a tight window.

Duggan has compiled 15 rushing attempts to tie season-highs in his last two games. He’s also enjoyed two of his better performances on the ground in those contests, rushing for 110 and 57 yards, respectively.

If you’re looking for another Max Duggan-centric prop to cap off a parlay, his any time touchdown scorer prop is listed by FanDuel at +120 and would push the combined odds to +460. But with Kendre Miller Questionable and the Horned Frogs as massive underdogs, I prefer the security of the rushing yardage prop. The frequency with which Duggan will need to take matters into his own hands should lead to an easy cover.
