Indiana vs. Michigan Same-Game Parlay for Week 8: SGP Picks & Odds

Indiana has disappointed for sports bettors this season, but their top wide receiver Charlie Becker has been brilliant.

My Indiana vs. Michigan same-game parlay sees another physical, low-scoring game developing as No. 6 Indiana has struggled to put teams away. Michigan has a sturdy defense capable of making this another ugly Big Ten tilt, but slowing down Charlie Becker is another matter.

With Indiana favored by 7.5 points, the action kicks off from Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday at noon ET (FOX).

Best Indiana vs. Michigan SGP & parlay picks for Week 8

Michigan +7.5 (-124)

Indiana’s performance against the spread this season has been a stark disappointment for their backers in the sports betting community. The reigning national champions are 1-6 ATS on the year.

Across four Big Ten games, the Hoosiers have won only once by a margin greater than this 7.5-point spread, a blowout win over Rutgers. Michigan has dropped a couple of close games, but hasn’t lost by a margin greater than six points.

DraftKings lists the spread at +7, so we like FanDuel for this parlay to gain access to Michigan +7.5.

Under 41.5 (-106)

We like the underdog to correlate with the game total staying Under in this spot in a game where defenses are largely able to bend without breaking. Michigan has seen just one game go Over 41.5 total points this season. Games involving the Wolverines have gone 1-5 on Overs.

Indiana has seen more Unders than Overs in its season, as well, with its last two games topping out at 37 and 34 total points, respectively. Combined, these scoring defenses have allowed just 31.2 PPG.

Charlie Becker Over 77.5 receiving yards (-114)

I like Indiana to win a close one, and Charlie Becker will be a big reason why. He is one of the most consistent wide receivers in college football, and I don’t see that changing in this matchup.

Becker just went off for nine receptions and 165 yards against Ohio State’s top-20 pass defense. Although Michigan allows only 166.8 receiving yards per game on average, the Wolverines were just torched by Penn State’s Chase Sowell for 11 catches and 151 yards. Becker has cleared this line in five of his last six games.
