The Georgia Bulldogs take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday, and we break it down with our Week 13 college football picks.

Georgia is off to its first 11-0 start since 1982. The Bulldogs are a perfect 3-0 against the spread on the road. Barring consecutive surprising losses in the next two weeks, they are destined for their second College Football Playoff appearance and first since 2018.

Georgia Tech has lost five consecutive games by an average of 17.2 points per game. The Yellow Jackets are 4-7 ATS, and they covered the spread in just one of their five home games.

Here are my picks and predictions for the college football Week 13 matchup between Georgia and Georgia Tech (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech Odds Analysis

The Bulldogs won four of the last five and nine of the previous 11 head-to-head meetings. Georgia covered the spread in the last three meetings and is 4-1 ATS in the previous five. The 35-point spread for Week 13 is the biggest in a Georgia road game since its Sept. 25 contest at Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs won 62-0 as 36-point favorites.

The Over is 3-1 in the last four meetings between these teams. This is the lowest total of any of Georgia's previous four games, and the lowest of any of Georgia Tech's last nine outings.

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech Predictions

Georgia -35 (-115)

The Bulldogs can likely name their score in this game. The one dilemma bettors face is whether or not Georgia will play this game with the utmost aggression. Georgia could be content to get all players out healthy as a much more critical showdown against Alabama for the SEC championship awaits.

Seeing as Charleston Southern did not challenge Georgia last week, the thinking here is head coach Kirby Smart will use most of the first full three quarters as a tune-up for the Crimson Tide.

The biggest reason for backing Georgia is the ineffectiveness of Yellow Jackets backup QB Jordan Yates. Yates started his second consecutive game in place of the injured Jeff Sims against Notre Dame last week. He had two turnovers that led directly to touchdowns. In addition, Yates was under constant pressure from the Irish's attacking defense, and the Yellow Jackets are in for another long day offensively.

Under 54.5 (-110)

While there is the concern of a backdoor cover from a point spread perspective, we feel much more comfortable with our wager on the Under. Georgia's defense has been by far the best in the country all year long, and its 7.5 PPG allowed is more than a touchdown better than the second-best scoring defense in the country.

Georgia Tech totaled just 224 yards in its shutout loss at Notre Dame and had only 11 first downs. Thus, there will be plenty of three-and-outs in the Yellow Jackets' future on Saturday. Even Georgia's backups should be able to limit Tech's offense if the starters get removed early.

The Under cashed in five of Georgia's last seven games, and there is no reason for the Bulldogs to run up the score as its playoff spot is likely cemented with a win regardless of how it fares against Alabama.
