This article is for week 12 – please see our updated week 13 college football parlay picks here.

The clock is ticking on the college football regular season, but parlay picks still have value. Here is our early look at the best options from the next weekend of action.

Regular season play only has a few more weeks and the college football landscape is as wild as ever. Outside of the Georgia Bulldogs, no one seems to be a lock to make it to the College Football Playoff. Upsets are happening every week, which brings value to your bets if you can predict them.

This week features three games between ranked opponents. Outside of that, some unranked teams are favored against their ranked counterparts, and other teams will play against cupcake opponents before preparing for their rivalry games.

Here's a look at my top parlay picks for Week 12 of college football action (Odds via FanDuel; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Week 12 Early Parlay Picks

Texas vs. West Virginia ML (-142) ???

This week, we are starting with a simple moneyline with a home team. The Mountaineers are slight favorites in this game, but I would rather take the moneyline and avoid the spread for the sake of simplicity on this parlay.

Texas is coming off of one of the worst losses in program history. The Longhorns must win their next two games to remain bowl eligible, but at this point, coach Steve Sarkisian may have lost the locker room for the year.

To make matters worse, star running back Bijan Robinson is out for the year with an elbow injury. Without him, the Texas offense has no balance. West Virginia should be able to win this one outright against a weakened Longhorns team.

Michigan vs. Maryland +14.5 (-108) ???

This parlay pick is for value. It may be smarter to take this bet outside of a parlay, but I think the value makes it worth adding this weekend.

Michigan is somehow still in the race to win the Big Ten, but the Wolverines have struggled to take over games on the road. They lost to Michigan State and barely beat Penn State and Nebraska.

Maryland has been inconsistent this season. Junior quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa has taken over some games and blown others, but he has the top-level talent to keep this close if everything goes right. Since the game is at home, I'm taking Maryland to barely cover.

Arkansas vs. Alabama ML (-1600) ?????

Objectively speaking, this is terrible value. Picking a moneyline at 1-16 odds is ridiculous, even if it includes Alabama at home. However, the spread doesn't make sense and we're already making two risky plays in these early parlay picks. We might as well add a game that will slightly boost earnings without adding risk.

Alabama needs one win to clinch the SEC West and will want to accomplish that before playing Auburn. The Tide defense has stepped up in recent weeks and linebacker Will Anderson has emerged as a Heisman candidate. The Tide dominate the line of scrimmage and have enough depth in the secondary to keep up.

The offense has taken a hit this year after losing most of its offensive line and three best skill players to the NFL. However, quarterback Bryce Young is starting to use his legs to extend plays. Jameson Williams is an elite receiver with over 1,000 receiving yards already and running back Brian Robinson can churn out yardage as long as the line gives him a chance.

Expect the Tide to win on Senior Day this weekend, adding a few dollars to your final earnings.

Combined odds: West Virginia ML (-142) + Maryland +14.5 (-108) + Alabama ML (-1600) = +249
