2026 college football championship odds favorites

Ohio State championship odds (+450)

Day's tenure with Ohio State was rumored to come to an end with losses to each of Oregon (32-31) and Michigan (13-10) this season. Those were enough to keep the Buckeyes out of the Big Ten title game, but they got their revenge by dismantling the Ducks 42-21 in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.

Ohio State is the favorite by the 2025 college football championship odds with one more win needed.

Texas championship odds (+500)

Texas made it to the 2025 semifinal in its first year in the SEC, outlasting all other teams from the conference where it just means more. Arch Manning is expected to return to lead the Longhorns in 2025-26.

Georgia championship odds (+550)

The 2024-25 season was rather unimpressive - if not disappointing - for Kirby Smart's Bulldogs. A loss to the Fighting Irish in the Sugar Bowl ended Georgia's season and accompanied earlier ugly losses to Alabama (41-34) and Ole Miss (28-10). QB Carson Beck entered the transfer portal and is headed to Miami, handing the reins to Gunner Stockton, unless someone else is brought in as a replacement.
