There have been weeks of speculation surrounding Wilson, as he was reportedly looking for a better opportunity to win a second Super Bowl.

A 10-year veteran for Seattle, Wilson started every game for the club through his first nine seasons in the league and then 14 of 17 contests this past season. Wilson has been named to the Pro Bowl nine times, won Super Bowl XLVIII, and was honored with the 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

He boasts a sterling NFL resume.

DraftKings Sportsbook had odds available for Wilson’s next team ahead of the blockbuster trade, and the Broncos were +1200 to land Wilson. However, Wilson recently stated, “Seattle is the place that I’m at right now, and I love it.” So, it’s definitely worth monitoring whether or not he approves the deal to Denver.

The Broncos had one of the best defenses in the NFL last season allowing the third fewest points and eighth fewest yards per game. Additionally, the offense includes a solid group of pass-catchers in wide receivers Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick.

Denver might also bring back veteran running back Melvin Gordon to complement second-year rushers Javonte Williams, as the duo were one of the better one-two punches in the NFL last season combining for 1,821 rushing yards, 529 receiving yards and 17 total touchdowns.

Unfortunately, the AFC West isn’t a cakewalk with the Super Bowl favorite Kansas City Chiefs (+750) in the same division.
