Trade rumors and speculation have had a consistent presence in Russell Wilson’s offseason narrative to date, and DraftKings Sportsbook has odds available for who his next team will be.

Wilson is currently under contract with the Seattle Seahawks through the end of the 2023 NFL season, so it isn’t surprising to see his current club the betting favorite. His $37 million cap hit won’t be the easiest to manage for a lot of teams, after all.

Furthermore, Wilson recently stated, “Seattle is the place that I'm at right now, and I love it.”

A 10-year veteran for the Seahawks, Wilson started every game for the organization through his first nine seasons in the league and then 14 of 17 contests during the 2021 season. He’s been named to the Pro Bowl nine times, won Super Bowl XLVIII, and was honored with the 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

The Washington Commanders have the second lowest odds for Wilson’s next destination, but that doesn’t look like a solid wager based on his recent comments. Plus, wanting to play for a Super Bowl contender has always been a key part of any trade discussions involving Wilson.

With that in mind, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Denver are all more logical future destinations for Wilson, and all four teams have questions at quarterback.

Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh had Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger respectively retire this offseason, whereas Denver only has Drew Lock under contract for next season.

Of course, Green Bay is an entirely different story with Aaron Rodgers making a decision soon on where he'll play next.

As it stands, Wilson’s comments suggest he’s likely to stick with the Seahawks, so their odds at DraftKings Sportsbook to remain his team might even be presenting value at -225.
