In fact, the USC product has only taken a single $2 wager to win the award, and his odds have climbed from +500 at the opening to +700 at the sportsbook.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is now the favorite at +600.

“It’s interesting to see how the public has viewed this market so far,” noted Adam Pullen, Assistant Director of Trading at Caesars Sportsbook. “London was the first skill-position guy picked in a weak quarterback class, so it makes sense we had him as the favorite. I don’t think there are any bad prices, especially on something like this where it’s total speculation. We’ll see how it progresses, it’s still early on in the game. Obviously, once they get on the field, that’ll be more of an indicator for how much the players will get used.”

“London not getting any attention is interesting,” Pullen added. “With [Calvin] Ridley out for the year, you’d figure he’s going to have a prominent role with the Falcons. But a lot of people like to look for value, they like to take the longer shots on the board. So it’s not too surprising, it’s a relatively new market we’ve booked, and we’re going to learn a little every year.”

Pickett has received 43% of the betting handle at Caesars, which is in large part due to a Nevada bettor wagering $500 on the Pittsburgh rookie at +700 odds for a potential $35,000 payout.  It’s the largest bet on the market thus far.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson currently has the highest ticket percentage with 15% of bets for the Offensive Rookie of the Year. His odds have dropped from +1600 to +1000 at Caesars.

The running back with the highest ticket and handle percentage is Houston Texans tailback Dameon Pierce with 8% and 10%, respectively. His odds to win the award have dipped from +5000 to +2800.

Additionally, it’s also worth noting an Illinois bettor put down $1,000 on Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White at +8000 to win the award, and White’s odds have since dropped to +5000.

Burying the lead, it’s shocking more bettors aren’t backing London on the basis of his menswear alone.
