The Pittsburgh Steelers selected quarterback Kenny Pickett with the 20th overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Pickett was the most bet signal caller to be the first quarterback selected in the draft with 37% of betting tickets and 48.3% of the betting handle at BetMGM

His odds to be the first QB selected were +130 at the sportsbook.

Long-time Pittsburgh starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger retired following the 2021 NFL season, and then the Steelers signed Mitchell Trubisky during the offseason.

The Steelers appear to be viewing Trubisky as a secondary option now.

FanDuel Sportsbook listed Pickett at +550 odds to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year before the draft, and Pittsburgh’s odds to win the AFC North Division remained at +850 following the selection of the University of Pittsburgh signal caller.
