Premier League club Newcastle United and BetMGM have extended their commercial partnership through the 2024-25 season.

The extension was signed with LeoVegas Group, which had acquired the product and technology platform comprising BetMGM's online sportsbook earlier in 2024.

BetMGM and Newcastle United initially entered the partnership in 2023, and the club was clearly pleased with the first-year results working with one of the industry's best soccer betting sites.

What does BetMGM get out of the deal?

BetMGM, one of our best sports betting sites, utilized St. James' Park (Newcastle's home stadium) to showcase various advertisements via LED boards, big screens, and more traditional billboard displays. It will gain further access to exclusive content as part of the extension, including more compelling and engaging content with Newcastle's first-team players.

The overall goal of the extension is to increase and expand international engagement for both parties.

“Newcastle United and BetMGM have had an exceptional first year together,” said Peter Silverstone, Newcastle United’s chief commercial officer. “We have helped BetMGM to drive brand awareness and engagement in key markets, supporting its aim to create the world’s greatest iGaming experience.”

To foster additional engagement, BetMGM has offered price boosts, enhanced bonuses, and a free-to-play Golden Goals game, with a total prize pool of up to €2 million and a €15.4 million jackpot for UK customers.

The aforementioned offerings are in addition to the deals BetMGM provides in North America through our best sportsbook promos.
