I haven't seen anything like this recently, where a top player is just completely dominated by another.

The Eurosport announcers compared it to Fed/Nadal, but that's a terrible comparison. The fact is, even when Federer loses to Nadal, he's almost always competitive, and Nadal doesn't "own" Federer. The truth is, Nadal "owns" Federer (and everyone else) on clay. On other surfaces, they've been fairly even. No shame in that for Fed when he's facing the best clay courter of all time.
