US Open - Day 3 (8/29/12) Early Plays
Going to start the day off with 3 plays for the 11am matches. Depending how it goes, may be back with some more.

    1) Kevin Anderson +533 ($18.76 to Win $100)
Really just taking a shot at this one. When Andy's serve is on, he can cause some problems. I witnessed Ferrer's last match live, vs Wawarinka in Cincinnati. I couldn't believe how flat David was, and how many unforced errors he made. I'm hoping this is still sitting in the back of his mind if this match is tight.

    2) Magdalena Rybarikova -115 ($63.25 to Win $55)
Simple reasons here, she has won 9 straight matches, including the event in Washington last month, where she had a few nice wins over Pavly and Stephens. She holds a 2-0 h2h record against Zheng, never dropping a set. Zheng comes in not in the best form since her run on grass in Birmingham nearly 3 months ago. In fact she was tied in the 1st round with Razzano (who I view as terrible) before Razzano retired.

    3) Mallory Burdette +155 ($38.71 to Win $60)
Burdette, who will be going back to Stanford after the Open, has been playing really well in a few ITF events in the last month. In fact, she won in Vancouver. Sure the top ranked opponent was only 117 in the world, but what a confidence boost for a youngster. Sometimes these kids come into these events with nothing to lose, and play loose and feed off the crowd, which will no doubt be on her side. Hradecka has been in bad form since coming off her favorite surface, clay. Lucie has won 58% of her matches in her career, but only 45% on hard. Sure Lucie is a veteran on tour, but she only holds a 10-26 record in Grand Slams. Mallory with the small upset.

Rybarikova has been dominating lately and she is only -130.. its odd especially with her dominance over Zheng in their last 2 faceoffs
