now that i think about it, it isn't so surprising, if it wasn't for all the unforced error in the first set, she would have destroyed Kirilenko 1st set, she calmed down, cut them out, what an amazing come back.

Kvitova just settled down and allowed Kirilenko to lose instead of having to beat her. It was truly impressive. I think Kvitova truly was tired though.
