Each way 1/2 odds in Tennis Futures

Is this required in most euro books or just an option? Always says each 1/2 1-2 at the bottom.

But there's always a little box to click too, so if you don't click the box do you just get "outright" odds?

Never see this stuff in U.S. books so kind of confusing....

Bet365/WilliamHill/etc.
