    Challenged: August 14th
    [Cordenons] Kuznetsov -115
Sousa has been on a solid run his last two tourneys with a title and a semifinal last week. He did look a bit gassed at the end of last week though. Kuznetsov has shown good work on clay also @ this level with a title this year. He won a couple ATP level matches on dirt in July, but has been a little hit & miss since then. Looking for Sousa's tank to be a little empty.

    [Cordenons] Montanes -125
Ungur comes in off the title in Romania. Expecting somewhat of a let down as he moves out of his home country. Montanes has been playing fairly solid tennis on the Challenger level, a far cry from what he used to be. Still, good spot for him against a post-euphoria Ungur.

why would ungur lose after he just won? or is that a trend you have noticed betting a lot of these tournaments? because you would think maybe he has momentum. i don't have an angle, just asking. you think he may be tired and not as motivated i guess. interesting, might tail.

Guys involved in tournament title matches often show up empty the week after. It's not 100% or anything, you look at it case by case and fiigure out where to try it. Remember Dolgopolov winning DC a couple weeks ago? He showed jup and got pounded in his first match the tournament after. Haas was also involved in that match and played well the following week. Ungur for me hasn't been consistent at all, so going against a good performer after winning @ home + travel, etc. It is something I am trying in this case.

Obvioisly this isn't something that you want to apply say to Djokovic for winning in Toronto last week because he is that good. Gasquet? For me, yes. Had one of his best weeks of the year and in a baed match_up with Raonic.

Much more likely to apply with Challenger level guys, but again useful to know situations with anyone involved in title matches the week before.

thanks, i tried fading cilic after he won a small tournament where he had to battle his ass off against everyone the whole tournament, thinking he might be exhausted the next tournament which was like a day or two later, and he kept winning in that one too. but that's a small sample size.

Yeah it is definitely not a situation where you auto fade anyone involved in a title match. Sometimes guys get hot and stay hot. Pays to know if they have points to defend in a gtiven tournament too which is why Challengers offer a little more opportunity for guys to flame out after a long week.

I jumped on Kuz early as well...Thanks for that EP. I was debating Mont also but will probably lay off unless I get a slightly better price.

Wow! A double fault to get broken in the 3rd set. I swear you cannot trust any of these tennis pussies ever.

Looks like he is done off an early break in the 3rd. Sometimes when guys win easy in the 1st set, they just relax too much and can't find their mojo again ... looks like Montanes did a bit of this.

So many chances to win this set. Broke back and then got broken back to even. Then blew 6 break points on Ungur's serve. Tie break seems aboot right for this crap. If he can get there.
