I'm getting more interested in tennis but can happily admit I don't know much about the sport. Yet.
What is your approach to basic tennis analysis - for example, if you would set the odds for a tennis match, how would you do?
Basic questions like this has often been discussed so feel free to direct me to any earlier discussions or resources.
I guess that a starting point would be the ATP/WTA ranking. Thereafter, H2H history, recent form and relative skill on the type of court. Any comments on this?
Regarding stats - what are the most relevant and interesting stats to look at when trying to predict how one player would fare against another?
