I put Hewitt in a parlay, I saw some of that match with Pospisil and I loved how Hewitt was playing. He seemed to be into every point, lot of fist pumping, but Popisil was just so bad it was embarrassing. You have to take into account Pospisils dreadful performance and so that match is hard to go by. Smyczek has very good numbers on the surface, I would just play it safe and parlay Hewitt with someone like Haas tomorrow or Monaco or Berlocq rather than playing that -3.5 spread.

Hewitt got some help from a fault-happy Smyczek to get the break at 4-4, but I give him credit for serving out the set in a strong way. He needs to carry this momentum into the second set, because Smyczek has played a solid match aside from getting tight in his last service game.

Smyczek is grinding through this second set. I love how he's playing at this tournament. I think he will take this match if he just hangs in there and waits for Hewitt to continue to make mistakes.

Sorry Snowball. Maybe Hewitt can save your day with a strong third set, but his first serve has looked awful.

edit -- Hewitt up two breaks now. Smyczek is playing so tight right now, but I gotta give Hewitt credit for throwing away that horrible ending to the second set and cleaning up his act a little.

Horrible game from Hewitt at 5-0. Really screwed up a shot at 15-30, then double faulted. More of the Hewitt we saw in the first two sets

Congrats Snowball, Matt, and other Hewitt backers. This was a good win for Hewitt. Things are shaping up for him to make a deep run this week.

I watched this match to scout Hewitt for the rest of this week and the near future, and I wasn't impressed with what I saw. Still, he may have some value, considering this is not a strong field. I hope Snowball's future has some valuable hedging opportunities in the near future.

considering he didnt really hav a test last match, this probaly a lttle over welming to start off with. this was really a good warm up for him,Smyczek played decent compared to pospil thats why he took hewitt off guard a bit.
