She might be, but she is getting a couple of hours rest.

Plus, double's matches do not take too much out of u physically compared to singles...due to the minimal amount of movement and shorter points.

And also, I think this is Serena's chance to thank her sister for all her support by winning this for her....expect a hard fought game from both of them.

Good points. I was thinking mental drain and lack of focus.

But playing with her sister should overcome that.

I still took +335. Up to +380. Looks like i'm the sucker.

Always a mistake if you're betting doubles to automatically think that someone playing two matches in a day is going to struggle. Unless you're talking about two men teaming up who played 4-5 grueling matches, there is minimal impact. Just look at how easy two of the sets were for Serena in the final. Really only the second set required a ton of concentration and perhaps frustration.

Sport_Fish is spot on with his assessment IMO. I used the Williams + Lindstedt-Tecau as a parlay and my main play today.
