H2H is terrible, but Kohly's body of work the last 2 months or so is definitely more impressive to me. Silly odds, IMO with Tsonga @ -300.

I don't think I'm going to play this one way or another. Tsonga is the most unpredictable big name ATP player that I've come across in some time.

I do like Kohlschreiber in general though. He's been underrated all tournament. I saw a lot of people who didn't think he'd even get past Haas.

Does anyone remember Yannick Noah (not sure of spelling)? He was a supremely athletic Frenchman who won the French back in the 80s. Would it be fair to compare Tsonga to him in terms of unpredictability? If so, Tsonga is definitely a no-play. I mean, how do you handicap mental meltdowns...?

Not I. Said it before, there's a reason Kohlschreiber has never made a Slam QF until now and never done well @ Wimbledon until presented with this cake ass draw. He's not that good. His grass court record is almost all fluffed on his home tourney in Halle. Tsonga has the experience edge & let's face it, is flat out the better player on any surface. Sure, that doesn't mean it translates on a given day - but give me a guy who has been in a Slam Final and in this position several times vs. Mr. First Timer any day. I think if Kohlschreiber doesn't take the first set, this is a sweep. I think Kohlschreiber can take a set if his serve is bombs away, but Tsonga's athleticism trumps.

Parlayed Kohly +2.5 sets @-220 with Djoko in straight sets @ -235.

So disappointing from Kohl. Up 4-1 and 30-40 and now Tsonga is serving for 4 all in the set.

Typical Kohlschreiber dude. Inexperience at this stage shows almost every time with every player, no matter how long they have played the game. Sticks with him all set, but gets tight in the tie break, etc.

Mmmhm. Well, the only bet I have on this match was a two teamer with Djoko in straights & Kohl taking a set....so yea.

One set all, ticket cashes. Turning this shit off to watch Murray/Ferrer.
