A few people asked me to post another play or two after my big hit on Kohlschreiber today. I don't like to have to eat a lot of chalk so I usually look for the value plays as opposed to anyone favored over -150. I occasionally do parlays as well but never anyone over -500. It doesn't make sense to me when I see some plays with -1000 It adds so little to the overall profit and look at Berdych and Isner for all you need to know about not doing that.
So here goes nothing:
Malisse has a career .667 winning percentage on the grass. That makes him a beast in my book. You'll get no argument from me that Simon is obviously the superior player. Except for on grass. Simon got an easy break against an injured Mathieu with a retirement after 2 sets in round 1. The line says it all you can get a much, much better overall player for -120. The books are begging you to take Simon. I'm going to throw down 7.5 units on Malisse at +100.
I am also leaning towards some kind of parlay involving Mayer at -135 (who has been very hot as late and is 3-0 lifetime against Petzschner (albeit never on grass) and Mahut at -175 (because I think Falla used everything he had in upsetting Isner).
Any thoughts? Anyone with me?
