Freakshow Ivo was serving ridiculously well against the Sod, and Djoko was a bit bleh in his last. Courts are really quick too. Best I can see is +333 at ladbrokes.

I'm going to take some +800 on Karlovic to win 2-0, since I figure if he loses the first set, his motivation will drop - Djokovic is a great frontrunner too. Similarly, if Karlovic wins the 1st and Djokovic ties it up, unlikely Karlovic comes back. 7-6 7-6 seems pretty likely :-)

Thnk you might cash here, LT. Djokovic can't get anything on Ivo's first serve, he's lost every single point where the first serve is in. Given he'll be up around 70% first serve, that makes it almost impossible to break.

Djoko getting close on Karlovic's serve. Just hoping Ivo can hold his next three - at least then he has a good chance (although Djoko is threatening his serve more now too).

Result today makes sense after seeing Djoko's last round against Hanescu - Djoko only beat him cos of injury. He's 6'6 or so, and caused similar problems as Karlovic today (hard to break, huge wingspan at the net pressuring Djokovic into mistakes on the passing shots).

pico: really nice pick on the over, I missed that. Was almost a total lock it would be at least 7-5 in two sets.

Karlovic is an ugly ass player. He's ten times uglier to watch than an Andy Roddick who at least has SOME return skills. If Karlovic ever learned how to return, Wow would he be a player.

Yeah, he's awful to watch. Very few of the tall players have any returning skills to speak of though, because they don't have quick acceleration off a static start. The only real exception is Del Potro, who's a terrific returner despite being 6'6 (one of the reasons I think he'll be top 5 very, very soon).

Yeah, Del Potro is awesome, but his serve is currently a bit weak considering his height. If he can improve that, watch out...
