I think quite a few of these women are over rated and the ranking system is flawed. Hence the two picks tonight:
Azarenka v Cibulkova - The last 5 meetings between the two have gone the distance although Azarenka dominates the head to head 7-1. Cibulkova is in good form this tournament dropping only 8 games in 3 straight sets victories so we go for a sixth straight match between these two going the distance or staying close enough to hit the over 20.5 games.
Kerber v Martic - Martic has already accounted for two seeds on her way to round 4 and has good memories beating Kerber twice in 2008 and 2009. Although Kerbers ranking has climbed further than Martic since then, there is great value here for a small play on Martic.
