Not on Friday. At least one will go down. I never touch those favorites on Friday.

Djokovic played like s*** today, and Tsonga could catch him at the right time. Cibulkova and Venus both have a decent shot at upsets as well. I think Nadal will be focused after the Madrid debacle, but Berdych did have Federer on the ropes last week.

Fridays are rarely easy on the chalk ...

Eager to see how many people get sucked in to take Tsonga today because he beat Del Potro. Let's remember Delpo is nursing a bum knee and had played damn near three weeks in a row. Was looking to either tank or succumb to fatigue. On another surface [quicker] - Tsonga might have a chance, on red clay, very little even if Djokovic isn't in the best form. I would be surprised if any of the men's dogs won today. Seppi would be the one I think has a chance to compete, but he's also logged heavy court time the last two matches - not what you want when you're going against Federer.

WTA you always have a shot to cash some dogs - those will probably be your best shots.

Federer is crushing Seppi head to head leads 8-0 and 3 of those are on clay. As shocking as it is to me Tsonga leads Djokovic head to head 5-4; however, none of those are on clay.

Yeah, I figured Tsonga was the only one with a decent shot because the other matches were/are too lopsided in the talent and "winning" experience department. Not that Tsonga has proven himself as a real winner, but he's done enough for me to not fade him against Del Potro for example. I didn't bet on Tsonga either, and I never will again, because he's Tsonga. He reminds me of that nurse or doctor who has the syringe and is smiling and can't wait to inflict pain upon you ...

Lucikly, I didn't get sucked into it as I have dealt with Tsonga enough in the past to know to not bet on or against the guy ... even when he's a juicy underdog like yesterday.

My only point was Tsonga (as bad as he is on the red clay) could be catching Djokovic at the right time. Honestly, djoker should've lost in straight sets yesterday. Up until the middle of the second set, Djoker kept making unforced errors, hitting poor shots, faulting on his first serve and was letting Monaco wipe the floor with him. If Djoker wants to win another major this season, he better not play like that after the first round of any grand slam event. But maybe we're all just foolish to think Djokovic can regain that form he was in last year ... That was an incredible year, and sometimes I think some were a little too eager to think Djokovic will do this every season for the next few years.

Looks like Paco's 0-8 prediction is coming to life ... maybe Kvitova will lose. Seppi isn't in Fed's league, but I've seen crazier things happen in tennis.

Tough start to the day for Paco, but he'll get back on track with NBA or MLB.

Djokovic could have won this a lot easier than it is going to wind up being. He was breaking Tsonga left and right in the 1st set too, but wasn't very effective with his serve - as the announcers said, seems like maybe he was bored until the set stayed interesting until 5-5. Tsonga getting his ass handed to him in the 2nd and he's lucky the score line doesn't read more like 6-3, 6-1. JWT of course quitting late [as far as chasing down balls] in the 2nd now that he's out of it. Typical.

Gotta love Tsonga. When it's going well, he'll actually keep pushing hard to beat a quality player. When it's going bad, he has the intestinal fortitude of a seven-year-old.

Yep. He's on the fade list @ Roland Garros 1st time I see a good dirtballer opposite him. He's never been a good clay court player, but he seems to have regressed even more this year. Of course by virtue of his ranking, he probably has a cakewalk draw until the 4th - but I hope they put a nice little floater somewhere in his bracket to take his ass out early at a big price.

Kerber won in three sets, so the dogs avoided an 0-8 day. Unless Seppi pulls off a miracle upset, however, the all-dog card has been a bust this Friday.
