Nishikori doubled over in pain and could barely walk. Since he's Japanese, he would rather jump off a building than retire.
He should've retired in the previous game, which Verd won easily. Anyways, Nishi couldn't physically complete Game 7... and so the match was ended.
But do you view it as wrong to bet Verdasco +269 in this instance? That's a whopping good price.
