So sorry to ev1 that I have been off the my thread for a few days. Monday monring is a pound day for me teaching tennis. The start of the week I have to organize all my groups into what drills & gameplans I will be running. Invoices are a bitch to get ready, but thats $$$ time
So, I'm not complaining tooooo much.
It took me about a day to recover from my tment this weekend. I lost to a kid who played at Tyler Junior College, who just won Nationals for Ju Co, 19 years old, LOL, and that match took alot out of me. He got the W, but I made his ass work for it. We lost in doubles in the quarters, my partener did not have his best match Sat evening & boy, did we need it. Other team from South Texas was solid, felt like a final. We had our chances going up a break in the second, but eventually he got broke & we lost in straights.
I need to clean up my records from the weekend, wasn't the best for tennis for me, and then I will re post todays plays. I think Kohlscriber won the first set & Querrey plays in a few mins. Sam has been in great form lately, serving amazing. I can't see a struggling Roddick, with very little confidence right now, beating Querrey. Sam will NOT take this match lightly bec they are friends. He is going to want to beat Roddick & show ev1 that HE is a better player from now on than the aging Roddick who seems to be losing to ev1 now. I think this match will be close bec of the serves, so maybe an OVER, but I do expect Querrey to get the better of Roddick on some of those big points where I think Roddick will choke. I hope ev1 has been doing well & winning on ALL their plays in ALL sports!!! BOL!!Comment -

***Made a really bad decision here to parlay the Cilic rather than just play straight. I learned a lesson for $150, prob no more plays EVER of over -750 range, just not worth it. Should of been a winning day, but instead lost. I am not happy about it, but if I change the structure a bit of my plays bec of this, then it will be for not. I did STRESS I liked Cilic, so hopefully someone just saw that for what it was & made some money playing him straight up. ARG!Comment -
Hey bro! how have you been? remember a few weeks ago I told you, not worth adding them to a parlay? it's just not worth it.. I had a -800 fav a week ago to close a 6 teamer that would of paid $600, all plays were -200 -400, the only one that lost was the -800 fav.

What's up AceKing??? Ya, I do remember you giving me that tip a few weeks ago. And I KNOW that it is always a freaking gamble when you throw those big ML's in. I just wasn't thinking. I know it's not worth it. It's gonna change my decisions up as far as putting in those bigger favs. Lesson learned!
And that sucks on your parlay! I hate when your -200's hit, maybe a -350 & the loser is the freaking -750 or -900!! I know exactly how you feel, all too well. I am thinking, -700 range is the highest I will go if I REALLY like the play!
Good to see that you are on Querrey! I know that Sam has played alot of matches in the last week, but his form is so good right now. Roddick is in freaking disarray! This is a match that Querrey NEEDS to win in my opinion bec it will put a statement on Querrey passing up Roddick for good in the American race. He might be a little tired, but his motivation should be SKY high! Hoping Roddick to choke his ass off again on some big points & Querrey to serve big and hit out big. BOL to us!!Comment -

Well, Querrey retired at 2-5 in the first set. Thank goodness he knew better than to finish the first set & then retire. He KNEW that people would lose a TON of money on him if he pulled that crap. So he did what any good American would do, he retired before the set ended. Now, Bovada has a refund policy in case of retirement at ANY time in the match. But for my thread, I take the first set complete as action bec that is how MOST books grade the wager. So I was very happy that he retired at 2-5. This comes as a surprise to me, bec Querrey has not mentioned anything about his back hurting. His current form is very good & on a regular day, I am postitive that he would beat Roddick! Something was def wrong, bec he was not wanting to rally any points what so ever. Going for huge winners & serve was off.
For the thread purposes, I was very happy that he retired in the first & that took a potential losing $200 day into a $16 profit I think, LOL!! With Bovada, the funds would be refunded at any time in the match. I was really hoping to have a decent day today when I saw the Querrey match up! Could of won a few units if he wasn't injured, but happy to get all of it and then some, back.
I am going to post a few plays early tonight, bec I like some of the early early matches. I have not been posting those plays, bec I really am recovering from the weekend. Like last night, I came insidea around 11pm & the next thing I knew, it was 5am and I never even got off the recliner!! LMAO. I still had my shoes laced up & all my clothes on from the courts. But, I have caught up on some rest & I do want to get back into putting up a few more plays. Time to cash those tickets!! BOL to ev1 tonight!!Comment -

I personally hate betting the WTA. Way too unpredictable in my opinion. Makarova has won 4 of her last 5 matches she has played on grass. She lost in the semis last week on the grass in a 3 setter. She took out Kvitova yest in impresive fashion. Seems to me like she is in really good form & really is comfortable playing on the grass. Robson went thru qualies & won two matches. She took out Matinez Sanchez in the first round, who plays mostly clay. I think Makarova will win this match in straights, I would not be shocked to see a straight set win. Based on the current form of Makarova on the grass, this is gonna be a tough match for Robson to win.Comment -
