    Retirement Bettin Rules
Hey guys, I placed a big bet on Sadikovic to beat Hrdinova head to head.
Hrdinova ended up retiring in the 3rd and final set. She was down 5 - 2

The rule on the betting site is:

    Tennis

    Pre-Match
    240. In the event of a match starting but not being completed then all markets will be void except in the case of (241) below.
    241. In the case of retirements/disqualifications, all bets on completed sets stand.

Do I have a leg to stand on? Does a player retiring means that she lost and Sadikovic won?

Thats probably paddy power, their rules are a match must be completed for the wager to stand or its void. I have never done set betting with paddy power, but that 241 rule probably pertains to wagering on sets.

If your wager was on sadikovic to beat hrdinova and the match was not completed the bet is void. But, for instance, if you had sadikovic to win the first set, that wager would stand. The match must be completed for the sadikovic to beat hrdinova wager to stand.

Yeah, no way you will get your winnings for that.
That's why i like pinnaclesports. If player retires after 1st set, your bet will be settled normaly there.
