She's beaten Barthel in straights, Pavlyuchenkova in straights, and has just been damn impressive over the last 6 months. Her confidence must be sky high. Winning about 70-75% of her points on first serve, hasn't served more than 3 double faults in a match. Ridiculous price, I capped this match at around -175/+155 sharapova/makarova. If Sharapova struggles with her first serve she will get buried. At least a couple hundy on the ML, maybe more on the handicap when it's released.

Makarova was in great form when Sharapova pounded that ass in Australia. Makarova had beaten Zvonereva and Serena Williams in straight sets. Then Sharapova beat her up pretty good. Sharapova is always ready to be beaten tho. Her serve is always a liability.Comment -
