tonight could be Gonzo's last match
One of my all time favorite players. I am thinking about placing a significantly large wager on him +130 against Mahut. He said he feels "at home" in Miami, and this will be his final tournament as he announced his retirement in February. Will he flame out, or go out with at least a win or two here....open forum, post your thoughts.

Negative Ghost Rider. Mahut will bend over and take it in the ass tonight. Gonzo actually looked competent in that last clay court tourney he was in, which was somewhat surprising to me. Mahut would have a good shot if this was on an indoor court where his serve is able to get more speed and pop - outdoors, he's much more inconsistent. Look at how bad Haas whipped his ass last time out. I would have taken Gonzo with or without the specter or retirement because I think this is a good match-up for him.

LoL. Was thinking the same thing as I tracked the score on my way home. Obviously not watching, but from the stats it seems he has no zip on his serve. Terrible stats for 1st serve @ 55%.

Not done yet bro. Got an early break in the 2nd. Needs to consolidate and start whipping out that serve.

Adios Gonzo. It was a good fight, can't say high quality, but lost in a third set tie break.

Loved that guy, he was a class act and was really involved in alot of charities. Great story about him rescuing a dog and the dogs accompanied him on every tour. http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/DEU...-the-Dogs.aspx
